Cesar Castelli

Modern Italian, circa 1950

This instrument is a great example of why modern Italian violins continue to be sought out by discerning violinists looking for a classic and projecting sound paired with beautiful ascetics and great investment potential.

Castelli was a prolific and celebrated maker working in Ascoli Piceno having won many prizes and lived to the ripe old age of 91. This instrument made in the 1950’s has a sound that fills a concert hall and is balanced and even on all strings. This violin has had only one owner who has treasured it and kept it in excellent condition. Certification available upon request.
